FAQs

What is an endowment?

It is a fund whose assets are not spent, but are invested to produce income that provides grants every year for specific initiative that strengthen and enrich students' learning experiences. The assets of the fund are managed by Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation (BTCF). The endowment accrues dividends from its investment and these funds are used for making grants. A local advisory board assists with grant-making activities.
